Welcome to Better, a mobile application designed to help you live a better life through daily affirmations. By using Better, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Better app (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.


2. Subscription and Payments

Better is offered through a subscription model. When you subscribe, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan. All payments are processed via Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.


3. Use of the App

You may use Better solely for personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to: Copy, distribute, or modify any part of the App without our written consent. Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes on the rights of others.


4. Data Collection and Privacy

Better collects optional personal information such as your name, gender, and age, only if you choose to provide it. This data is used to personalize your experience. We also use Firebase and Google Analytics to gather anonymous usage statistics to improve the App. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.


5. No Account Required

Better does not require users to create an account. Your subscription and app usage are managed via your Apple ID.


6. Intellectual Property

All content within Better, including text, graphics, logos, and affirmations, is owned by or licensed to Better and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reuse or redistribute this content without permission.


7. Disclaimer

Better is intended for general wellness and does not provide medical or psychological advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a mental health condition.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.


10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
